The Rugged Boot & Shoe Co. is a family-owned business established in 1972. We are a full service boot and shoe shop specializing in sizes/widths for both men and women. We pride ourselves on our personal service and professional fitting to make your feet more comfortable whether you are traveling, working, or playing.

When you walk into the Rugged Boot, we measure your feet with a computer which helps provide more accurate size and width. We can then make our recommendations for the type of shoe or boot that would be serve your needs as well as the socks that would make your feet even more comfortable.

The Rugged Boot is located in Northern Westchester in a historic 1911 two-room schoolhouse in Mohegan Lake, NY - 3 miles west of the Taconic Parkway.
